1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how Runtimezero ("we", "us", "our"), operating the RuntimeHub suite of tools, handles information in connection with Wordy ("the Tool"). Our registered contact information and data controller details are available at runtime-hub.com.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
To be explicit and unambiguous, the following types of data are never collected by Wordy under any circumstances:
- Any text or content you enter into the analysis textarea
- Keyword analysis results, scores, or grades
- Your IP address (beyond what your CDN provider may log for delivery purposes)
- Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, or device fingerprint
- Session identifiers, user identifiers, or persistent tracking data of any kind
- Usage patterns, click events, scroll depth, or time-on-page analytics
- Geographic location data
- Referral URLs or navigation paths within the Tool
3. How the Tool Processes Your Text
When you type or paste text into Wordy, the following sequence occurs entirely within your browser:
- After a 120-millisecond debounce, your text is passed to a JavaScript Web Worker — a background thread that has no access to the DOM or the network
- The Web Worker tokenises the text, applies stop-word filtering, and runs four mathematical models (Shannon Entropy, Zipf-Mandelbrot OLS regression, NPMI co-occurrence, and KL Divergence)
- The results are returned to the main thread and rendered in the interface
- No network requests are made during this process. No data leaves your device at any point
- When you close or refresh the browser tab, all text and analysis results are permanently discarded from memory. There is no local storage, session storage, or cache mechanism used to persist your content
4. Cookies
Wordy does not set, read, or use cookies of any kind — not functional cookies, analytics cookies, preference cookies, or advertising cookies. No cookie banner is required because no cookies are involved.
If you access the Tool through a browser that itself sets cookies for its own purposes (such as saving a session or remembering settings), those are governed by your browser's behaviour, not by Wordy.
5. Third-Party Services
Wordy has exactly one external dependency at runtime: Google Fonts. When your browser loads the Tool, it makes a network request to fonts.googleapis.com to download the Work Sans typeface. This request may include your IP address and User-Agent string as part of standard HTTP headers. We do not control or have access to this data.
Google's handling of font request data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. If you wish to prevent this network request, you may host the font locally or block the domain using a browser extension or network-level filter.
No analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, etc.), advertising networks, social media trackers, session recording tools, or error monitoring services are present in the Tool.
6. Infrastructure & CDN
Wordy is deployed as a static web application on Cloudflare Pages. As with any web service, Cloudflare may retain standard server access logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, HTTP status codes) as part of their infrastructure operation. These logs are not accessible to Runtimezero for individual user identification and are subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Runtimezero does not access or receive individual request logs from Cloudflare. We have no way to identify, track, or profile individual users of the Tool.
7. Data Subject Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions, individuals have rights including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port their personal data.
Because Wordy collects no personal data whatsoever, these rights have nothing to operate on with respect to this Tool specifically. There is no database to query, no profile to delete, and no processing to restrict. 8. Children's Privacy
Wordy is a general-purpose text analysis tool with no age-gating mechanism. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum digital age in your jurisdiction). As no personal data is collected from any user, this provision is included for regulatory completeness rather than because a risk exists.
9. Security
The most robust data security is the absence of data collection. Because Wordy processes everything locally and stores nothing, there is no database to breach, no API endpoint to exploit for user data, and no centralised repository of content to compromise.
The Tool is served over HTTPS. The static files are delivered via Cloudflare's global CDN with standard transport security. No authentication credentials, payment data, or sensitive personal information is processed by the Tool under any circumstances.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. Any changes will be published on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be revised accordingly.
Continued use of the Tool following the publication of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically if you use the Tool regularly.
